Dove Exfoliating Body Polish : Review

Hey lovelies, hope you’re well. I’ve just had a shower and I can’t get over how great I smell. So, the first thing I want to do is tell you about this amazing bath product I’ve just used. I’m very excited to share my review of the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish with you. I’m currently using the variant Crushed Macadamia and Rice Milk. There are a two more  variants: Pomegranate Seeds and Shea Butter & Kiwi Seeds and Cool Aloe.

What it Claims:

Reveal silky-smooth skin with New Dove Exfoliating Body Polish by gently exfoliating and restoring skin’s natural nutrients.

What it Does:

It does everything it claims and more! It works wonders for my ultra-dry skin. It will work well for other skin types as well.
Price & Availability:

10.5 oz (298g) jar is priced at $5.54 approx. at Walmart, Target, Publix and other chains in the USA and in India it is available at Amazon.in for INR 2518 after a discount of INR 1482. The jar weighs the same.

The packaging is good with an airtight lid beneath the jar cap. I like jars more than tubes because with jars, you can scoop even the very last bits of the product. Securing the transparent air tight lid properly after use can reduce the risk of contamination that is associated with a tub kind of packaging.

How to use:

In the bath/ shower, scoop up a generous amount and apply all over the body in circular motion. Follow it with Dove Body Wash or Dove soap.

Use 3-4 times a week.

How I use:

I have very dry and flaky skin and so I mostly use oil based skin cleansing products. I use the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish once and sometimes twice every week. For me, one jar lasts two and a half months.

My Final Take on the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish:

Get your hands on it, guys and thank me later! I definitely will keep repurchasing it as long as I don’t come across a better deal.

I know the ingredient list has sulfates, alcohols and is packed with chemicals, however, these are mostly non allergens. The long term effects of SLS and SLES on the human body and the environment are really controversial. So, I’ll give this product the benefit of the doubt.

Please do a patch test before using the product on your face. If you have sensitive, acne prone and problematic skin conditions, check with your doctor before using any off-the-shelf products.

This is not a sponsored post. This review is based solely on my opinions. Please DO NOT use this product if you are allergic to /skeptical about any of the ingredients. Please use your own judgement and evaluate a product thoroughly before purchasing it. DO NOT USE ON BABIES.
